As a gamer, I found myself in need of a repair solution for my Rock Band™ drum set with very little time to deal with the warranty shipping and credit card holds. At the time I was shocked to find little information on the internet as to what exactly made these drums tick. Close inspection of the sensor itself yielded no specifications or part numbers.  After a great deal of research I was able to source a replacement sensor that worked with amazing results.  When talking to other gamers and fans of the game, it seemed others would be interested in this quick fix/ low cost solution.

A number of ebay auctions have been completed and demand for the sensors is strong, so a more permanant web presence was needed.  DrumSensor.com was born from this need.
